ORIGINAL FILMS

Not only do we produce films for nonprofits, or work with other production houses to capture the brilliance of nature for their shows, we also create our own original films. In fact, this is the main purpose of our organization! Below are several of our films we’ve produce, and others that are currently in production or development!

Two researchers are embarking on a journey to try and document the first female wolverine in the state of Oregon after recent sightings of a known male have consistently been made. They set out to determine if the reason he is sticking around may very well be due to the presence of a female, and if so, the potential of establishing Oregon’s first breeding pair.

In the American Southwest, a unique species of wolf unlike any other is making a comeback. Considered extinct nearly 40 years ago, the little known Mexican gray wolf has slowly pulled back from the very brink — against all odds. From a founding population of just seven animals, this species has slowly grown to a current wild population of approximately 100, only to face a new threat from within: its own genetics. As part of a bold recovery mission, one lone wolf is given a chance to offer new hope for the survival of her species. In telling this story, narrated by Chris Morgan, “Gray Area” explores whether there can be a balanced and sustainable future where ranchers, conservationists, locals, and biologists alike can coexist with this apex predator.

FILMS IN PRODUCTION

We are currently working on several films in production, including stories on: burrowing owls & orca.

A determined biologist has single handedly rescued a fragile population of burrowing owls in Eastern Oregon and now faces new challenges as the population continues to grow. As the burrowing owl population expands, he soon discovers there’s more behind the story than first meets the eye. As he continues to make new discoveries about the behavior of burrowing owls, a young family of burrowing owls face the challenges of growing up wild .

A team of researchers hope to understand the implications of a diminishing population of Southern Resident killer whales in the Salish Sea due to a lack of sufficient prey base, Chinook Salmon. Recent tragic events have gained worldwide attention, and biologists are determined more than ever to save them. For locals who’s national heritage has relied on these very waters for their own survival, losing Southern Resident killer whales to extinction would be an ominous warning of what’s to come.

FILMS IN DEVELOPMENT

We are always developing new stories, and working to find charismatic champions of the natural world. Here are a few of the stories we believe in that we are currently raising funding for to tell these important stories!
